FAQs

Why do you capture media at sunset?

In order to show off your property in its best light, we capture photos and video around sunset, when the lighting is very flattering and there are no harsh shadows.

Why do you need two separate days?

As you can imagine, this window of perfect lighting is quite small so media sessions are a bit hectic. Having two separate media days allows us to capture the best angles of your property in perfect lighting for both photos and video.

Why do I need to leave the house?

Put simply- so you don’t end up in the shot! You would be surprised how many reflections you can be caught in, even when you think you’re hiding out of the way. Even Abbie is no longer allowed in the house while it’s getting photographed.

Last Minute Reminders

  • Fans will be turned off for photos - are they clean?

  • Are all lights working? Do any bulbs need replacing?

  • Has everything been taken off the fridge?

  • Are family photos and personal belongings hidden?

Meet Ashley

Hi, I’m Ashley. I’m in charge of all things visual at Fairbanks Property: photos, videos, floor plans, virtual tours, website and social media. I know how to make your property look good and I won’t rest until we have achieved perfection. 

After 11 years of working in the real estate photography industry, I decided to settle down with my favourite agent. Abbie is so genuine and caring and I really believe in her vision. Fairbanks Property is truly unique and I’m honoured to be part of the team.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dogs (Peggy & Banjo) along The Strand, playing Minecraft and creating videos about anything I possibly can.
